Affiliations
In order to keep up to date with the latest technology and innovations in hair transplantation, Dr. Civas has constantly maintained active membership in the major international and local hair transplant associations.
Through these affiliations, we are able to improve our expertise by interacting with other international practitioners and learning from them. Every year Dr. Civas attends several international hair loss and restoration conferences and seminars, both as a participant and an educator. Dr. Civas is an accredited member (the first in Turkey) of ABHRS; (American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons) and also a Fellow member of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery), both of which are the biggest organizations of highly qualified hair restoration surgeons worldwide. In the whole world, there are less than 200 FISHRS (Fellow International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) doctors and his is one of them.
Other societies that he holds memberships are AAHRS (Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons), EHRS (European Hair Research Society) and the IAHRS (International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgery).
Locally, Dr. Civas is also a member of various Turkish associations in this field. He plays an active role in the Society of Dermatological Surgery (DCD) and the Turkish Dermatology Associations (TDD), which are the biggest dermatological associations in Turkey.
